There’s a good milkshake to be found almost everywhere. We’re sharing the best of our discoveries.
Milkshakes might be one of civilization’s best creations. As I travel the Chesapeake and beyond, I try to find the best of the local frozen dairy delictables. Called thick shakes in the UK, frappes in New England, or leche malteada in some Spanish speaking countries, mixed with fruit and called batido (1), I’m hoping to try them all. Hand or machine blended, syrups, scoops or soft serve, don’t forget the whipped cream.
As we travel, we’ll post some of our milkshake experiences and some of the best paces to get your own frothy frozen dairy fix.
